My involvement in
the world of purebred dogs began in the early 80’s with the
introduction of two red Dobermans to our family. The female turned
out to be an awesome bitch and was the foundation of my breeding
program that produced over 100 champions in many countries under
both the Ravenhill and Westarr prefixes. I learned a lot about dogs
from many different venues. As an owner handler I learned the art of
presentation and training and then as a breeder learned how to
produce top quality dogs for both the show ring and as beloved pets.
As with many things, one leads to another and handling became my
profession. Now with almost 30 years of experience behind me,
although no longer a breeder, I am still enjoying the world that has
become so much a part of me.
My husband Kerry
and I are kennel managers for a small boarding kennel in the
beautiful Hazelmere Valley in Surrey. We offer board and handling
services to our both our clients dogs and purebred dogs exclusively.

Kerry is a
millwright for a local food processing company. He assists me when
he can at shows and has become a very capable assistant despite his
fairly recent introduction into the world of show dogs. Between us
we have three sons and two daughters and two grandchildren.
